Overview

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will lead marketing initiatives for the Utilities segment and work collaboratively with sales team for planning, lead generation and marketing execution. Services under the Utilities umbrella are Telecom (wired and wireless), Joint Use, Inventories and Asset management and Construction Administration.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Copy writing - Able to quickly understand technical information and use for compelling story
  • Coordinate marketing materials creation, logo items management for service segment, updates and management of SOQ content, segment resumes, project sheets and other
  • Social Media - Understand the concept and use company channels for relationship building, lead generation and market intelligence, and marketing communications representing Utilities
  • Event planning - Must seek out locations, plan and execute client entertainment to support marketing Events are stand alone and in conjunction with tradeshows. This includes event communication/invitation coordination.
  • Tradeshows -
    • Research where to be/attend and coordinate
    • Be on-site to work the booth and manage any hospitality event we host
    • Coordinate marketing communications before tradeshows to targets (write and execute)
    • Coordinate follow up communications from events/shows with applicable staff o Coordinate any marketing Work with marketing team to determine
    • message/layout design
    • Capture all prospect names/ actions in CRM system and VISION database
  • Proposal Coordination - layout, assist in writing, distribution, update resume and all content
  • Market Research - Assist Business Development with research and information collection of market intelligence
  • CRM database entries: opportunities, activities, new contact entry, updates
  • Reporting - Updates on CRM action items, direct mail results and other to ensure team continues to pursue leads and follow-ups. Keep the wheels in motion

Qualifications

What you've done:

  • Marketing Degree or Sales background with at least three years of experience.
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office Suite. Illustrator a plus. 
  • Detail oriented with solid writing, editing and graphic design skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with technical staff, project leaders and the marketing team.
  • Able to handle multiple projects and priorities with short deadlines.
  • High level of expectations for brand management compliance.
