  • Overview

    The Accounting Specialist works within the accounting team of five supporting the company throughout the billing process, perform accounts payable functions, maintain various databases and reports, coordinate time-sheets and expense reports.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will be detail orientated, communicates effectively with management and be a self-starter. Basic responsibilities are:

    • Invoicing 
    • Cash Receipts
    • Fixed Assets Maintenance & Depreciation
    • Time-Sheets - Remote Employees
    • Expense Reports - Remote Employees
    • Collection Report & Related Support
    • Professional Licensing - Eng. & Corporate Level
    • Certificate of Insurance Maintenance
    • Statements
    • Audits - Project Specific
    • Petty Cash/Bank Reconciliations
    • Employee Benefits – Enrollment/Maintenance
    • Surveys of Financial Data - Various sources
    • AR Backup

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
    • Minimum of five years of Accounting experience
    • Deltek Vision experience preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
    • Reliable
    • Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
